We don't hit decks with high pressure. It tears up wood grain, raises the fibers, and forces water into places it shouldn't go. So we soft wash first, using low pressure and the right cleaning solution, with enough dwell time to lift the mold, mildew, and old grime without chewing up your boards (dwell time runs longer when the algae or mildew buildup is heavy). Once the deck is clean and fully dry, we apply the stain.

Price depends on the size of the deck, the condition of the wood going in, whether there's an existing stain that needs extra prep to pull off, and how many coats the wood needs to take. A small deck in decent shape runs less than one that hasn't been touched in four or five years.
